Registration

To use Vinitor, you need an account. Registration is free and takes just a few minutes.

1. Open the registration page

   Open the registration page to create a new account:

2. Enter your account details

   Fill in the registration form:

   • Email address — Your business email address.
   • Password — Choose a secure password. An indicator rates the strength of your entry.

   Then click Create account.

   

3. Verify your confirmation email

   After registering, you’ll receive an email with a confirmation link. Click the link to verify your email address. Only this link opens the setup of your business.

4. Set up your business

   After verification, a wizard guides you through the setup:

   Step	Content
   Business	Business name, business identifier and, optionally, the holding number
   Address	Location of your business via the address search
   User details	First name, last name and your username
   Vine areas	Your vine area in hectares
   Features	Overview of the included modules and the legal consent

   Business identifier and username

   The business identifier is the unique short form of your business. Only lower-case letters and digits are permitted — no hyphens, spaces or umlauts (3–20 characters).

   Together, the two form your login identifier in the format benutzername@unternehmenskennung, for example mmustermann@weingutsonnental. Vinitor suggests a username derived from your name (first letter of the first name + last name) — you are free to change it. The wizard shows you the finished login identifier directly.

   Legal consent

   In the Features step you must agree to the legal terms in order to complete registration. The consent reads:

   I accept the T&Cs including the data processing agreement (Annex 1) and have taken note of the privacy policy.

   All three documents are linked at that point: T&Cs, data processing agreement and privacy policy. The data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is Annex 1 to the T&Cs — this consent concludes it, so no separate contract is needed.

   Tip

   You can adjust your business details (business name, address, holding number) at any time under Settings → Business. Since you entered them during registration, the most important data is already in place.

5. Start your trial

   Once registration is complete, a 7-day trial starts automatically, during which all modules are unlocked. Once it ends, your account switches to the free plan — all paid modules are deactivated. You can take out a subscription at any time to unlock the modules again.

   You’ll be redirected to the dashboard and can start with setup right away.

   Note

   The trial automatically extends to 30 days if you add your payment details under Settings → Billing. The 30 days are counted from the start of the trial — so if you add your details on day five, you have another 25 days left.

Signing in

Sign in at dashboard.vinitor.app. In the USERNAME OR EMAIL field you can use either:

Both lead to the same account. Upper and lower case do not matter.

Note

In both cases the sign-in field expects an @. The bare username without the business identifier (e.g. mmustermann) is not enough — add your business identifier, or use your email address instead.

The grey example text in the field still shows only the form musterperson@weingut. Your email address works all the same — don’t let that put you off.

Signing in with an email address used not to work

Up to this release, the entry was internally reversed when it was sent, so an email address was never recognised — sign-in failed even with the correct password. That is fixed: your entry is now taken over unchanged.

Forgotten your password?

If you’ve forgotten your password:

1. Click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page.
2. Enter your username (benutzername@firmenkennung) or your email address.
3. You’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Note

For security reasons, the reset link is only valid for a limited time. If the link has expired, simply request a new one.
