Anyone who had a question about Vinitor until now had to contact us directly or click through the app until the answer turned up somewhere. That is changing: Vinitor now has its own documentation site at docs.vinitor.app.
The documentation is split into two areas: Guides walk you step by step through concrete workflows — from creating a vineyard through the spray plan to time tracking. The reference documentation describes each function in detail and is suited to looking things up.
On top of that there is a getting-started area that makes the start easier for new users: set up the business, install the mobile app, create the first vineyards. And everything is reachable via a full-text search — results appear instantly as you type.
Many guides contain a short video that shows the workflow directly in the dashboard. The videos are not recorded manually but generated automatically. The voiceover is handled by an AI-generated voice based on the voice of founder Lukas Kurz.
This is currently still an experiment — we are trying out whether this format makes the start easier and how the videos land with our users. Feedback on this is very welcome, be it on the content, the voice or the documentation in general.
Until now there was no central place for updates. On the new News page, all changes appear in a timeline — with a date, tags and a short summary. For larger features there are detailed blog posts with background.
