Vineyard management is the heart of Vinitor. Yet until now it was more functional than comfortable — a simple list, detail pages with basic information, no import. For businesses with 50+ vineyards this was tedious.
The new overview page combines an interactive map with an editable table. Vineyards can be edited directly in the table, and on the map the polygons are now labelled — you see immediately which area belongs to which vineyard.
The new import wizard makes creating many vineyards considerably faster. Data from existing systems (e.g. LEA in Rhineland-Palatinate or LAWIS in Switzerland) can be imported. The wizard detects conflicts — when a vineyard with the same name or an overlapping area already exists, this is shown and you can decide how to handle it.
Each vineyard now has a change history. Who changed what and when? When was the area adjusted? When was a file uploaded? This transparency helps especially with businesses that have several employees.
The vineyard groups have been reworked and now support optimised route calculation — handy for planning workflows across several locations.
