Plant Protection 1.0 — Tank Mixes, Active Substances & Spray Plan
Plant protection is one of the most demanding topics in viticulture — and one of the most strictly regulated. With the new plant protection module, the entire documentation becomes digital: the new area bundles the spray plan, tank mixes, plant protection products and active substances into one view.
Tank mix management is the core piece. Tank mixes combine several plant protection products with dosage figures and a dilution amount — once created, they can be reused in every spray plan.
In the spray plan, every measure is planned with a tank mix, period, grape stage and sprayer operator. The dosage calculation automatically converts the tank mix into dose per litre and dose per hectare.
On top of that comes a database of plant protection products and their active substances. Products can be taken over from the database or created manually. The link with active substances enables later analyses of active-substance amounts per area.
Vineyards have received new technical fields: row spacing and leaf wall height (both in centimetres) as well as parcel and row count. These values feed directly into the plant protection calculation.
